Help Us Determine How You Network with Others at NCCYM
One of the biggest reasons ministry leaders and volunteers attend NCCYM is for the many networking opportunities that exist. Nothing beats sitting down and connecting with others who are walking the same journey as you. To help all of our attendees unlock the great treasure that is networking, NFCYM will be offering daily opportunities for attendees to gather together by areas of interest.
A simple and quick two-question survey has been developed that will help planners select the most desirable cohort groups and hot topics/issues for attendees to discuss with others during the conference. We will also feature a third networking session on Saturday for attendees to share best practices, ideas, and conference takeaways based on the particular cohort group they select. All networking sessions will be facilitated by one or more leaders. Please help us finalize these decisions.
What's New for 2018?
Networking, Networking, and MORE Networking
Attendees have named "networking" as one of their primary needs and one of the top reasons they choose to attend NCCYM.... AND we hear you!
In 2018 each day will feature an intentional time for leaders and volunteers to gather with other colleagues in topical network sessions to share ideas, questions and resources around specific needs, interests and/or ministry focus.
Time to Process and Apply
Our main stage sessions will allow time for attendees to connect, process, reflect and apply what they are hearing with what they are doing in their lives and ministry.
Extended (2.5 hour) sessions presented by national leaders, designed to take attendees deeper into a ministry topic. The perfect choice for some of our more experienced attendees.
Time to Socialize and Celebrate
How about starting the day with a brisk workout or walk along the bay or ending it with a boat ride, outdoor concert or sing-a-long led by a national Catholic performing artist? There will be no shortage of social opportunities to help you continue to network, share and connect with your colleagues from morning till night.
